He has two brothers named Kevin and Andrew, who are not related to the world of films and cinema. It was only when he was three years old that he could memorize the dialogues of different people whom he saw on TV, and could play out their manner of speaking and moving with a high degree of accuracy. This impressed his mother, who took him to audition for artists who could act out previously memorized roles, where he was signed by a talent search agent. He modeled print advertising for the next three years.
During this time, he appeared in a large number of commercial shows and starred in voice-over roles, most notably the roles of Tough Puppy and Simple in the 1998 feature film Baby: Pig and the City. Nathan Kress landed the lead role of the Emperor in the school play “The Emperor’s New Clothes” when he was eleven and in the fifth grade of his school. The role renews his vision of early an acting career, and he asked his parents to create arrangements so that he could be trained acting while at home.
